Synopsis... High pressure will slowly weaken today into Friday while moving southeast into the eastern Gulf of Mexico from the southeast United States. A cold front will also move through South Florida and the coastal waters Friday night...followed by high pressure building into the southeast United States this weekend. This will allow for the winds over South Florida waters to become windy by Friday night into this weekend.

Today... Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Near shore...seas 3 to 5 feet. In the Gulf Stream...seas 5 to 7 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet in the afternoon. Northeast swell 2 to 4 feet becoming 2 to 3 feet. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
Tonight... Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet near shore and up to 2 to 4 feet in the Gulf Stream. Northeast swell 2 feet in the evening. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
Friday... Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet near shore and up to 4 to 6 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop becoming choppy in the afternoon.
Friday Night... North winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet near shore and up to 6 to 8 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters rough.
Saturday... Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Near shore...seas 5 to 7 feet. In the Gulf Stream...seas 7 to 9 feet building to 9 to 11 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas.
Saturday Night... Northeast winds 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet near shore and up to 9 to 11 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
Sunday... Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet near shore and up to 8 to 10 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Slight chance of light showers.
Sunday Night... East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Slight chance of light showers.
