Synopsis... Tropical Storm Hanna will continue to move away tonight allowing winds and seas to subside. High pressure will build across the area this weekend. All mariners should closely follow the forecast track of Hurricane Ike, which may approach the area early next week.

Small craft should exercise caution through the evening
Tonight... Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts to around 20 knots becoming west 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Near shore... seas 2 feet or less. Well offshore...seas 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 feet or less after midnight. North swell up to 2 feet in the evening. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
Saturday... West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet or less. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
Saturday Night... East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 feet or less. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
Sunday... North winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts to around 20 knots becoming northeast 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots in the afternoon. Near shore...seas 2 feet or less. In the Gulf Stream...seas 2 to 4 feet building to 4 to 6 feet in the afternoon. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Sunday Night... Tropical storm conditions possible. Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet near shore and up to 5 to 7 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
