Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... Onshore flow will weaken through Tuesday morning as a weak cold front approaches from the north. The front will move across the waters by Tuesday evening...resulting in offshore flow and drier conditions developing on Wednesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible along and ahead of the front Tuesday and Tuesday night. Onshore flow will resume and moisture will increase Friday and Saturday as surface high pressure moves east of Texas and low pressure develops over the Southern Plains. Increasing tropical moisture will lead to isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms by Saturday.

Tuesday Night... Northeast winds around 15 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet after midnight. Chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening...then slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight.
Wednesday... Northeast winds around 15 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning.
Wednesday Night... East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast 5 to 10 knots early in the morning. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
