Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... Onshore flow will weaken through Tuesday morning as a weak cold front approaches from the north. The front will move across the waters by Tuesday evening...resulting in offshore flow and drier conditions developing on Wednesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible along and ahead of the front Tuesday and Tuesday night. Onshore flow will resume and moisture will increase on Thursday and Friday as surface high pressure moves east of Texas...and low pressure develops over the Southern Plains. A coastal trough will begin to develop late Friday...providing a slight chance for thunderstorms.

Tuesday... Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night... Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening...then slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight.
Wednesday... East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Thursday... Southeast winds around 10 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
