Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... Weak onshore flow will prevail today. A strong cold front will move through the coastal waters during the late evening and early morning hours. A chance of rain is expected with the front along with strong offshore flow and building seas. Seas will begin to subside Friday night as an onshore flow returns to south Texas and persists through Monday.

Tonight... East wind 10 to 15 knots in the early evening shifting to the north and increasing to 20 to 25 knots by midnight. Bays slightly choppy in the early evening becoming choppy to rough by midnight. A chance of showers.
Friday... North wind 20 to 25 knots becoming northeast 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Bays choppy to rough. A slight chance of showers in the morning.
Friday Night... Northeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Bays choppy. A slight chance of showers after midnight.
