Weak onshore flow will prevail today. A strong cold front will move through the coastal waters during the late evening and early morning hours. A chance of rain is expected with the front along with strong offshore flow and building seas. Seas will begin to subside Friday night as an onshore flow returns to south Texas and persists through Monday.
