Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... Onshore flow will weaken through Tuesday morning as a weak cold front approaches from the north. The front will move across the waters by Tuesday evening...resulting in offshore flow and drier conditions developing on Wednesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible along and ahead of the front Tuesday and Tuesday night. Onshore flow will resume and moisture will increase on Thursday and Friday as surface high pressure moves east of Texas...and low pressure develops over the Southern Plains. A coastal trough will begin to develop late Friday...providing a slight chance for thunderstorms.

Tonight... Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 4 feet. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight.
Tuesday... Southeast wind around 5 knots becoming east in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night... East wind 10 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.
Wednesday And Wednesday Night... Northeast wind 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Thursday... Northeast wind 5 to 10 knots shifting east in the afternoon...then becoming southeast 10 to 15 knots in the evening becoming south 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Seas 2 feet.
Friday... South wind around 5 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
