Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... Weak onshore flow will strengthen and become moderate by this afternoon as an area of low pressure deepens over southwest Texas ahead of an approaching upper level disturbance. A moderate northeasterly flow will develop on Tuesday the disturbance crosses south central Texas. This will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms to the region. In the wake of the disturbance wind will shift to north Tuesday night and a light to moderate offshore flow will continue through Wednesday morning. Weak onshore flow will develop late Thursday...then increase to moderate to strong Friday ahead of the next upper disturbance approaching the Central Plains.

Today... East wind 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Tonight... Northeast wind 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 4 to 5 feet. A slight chance of showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight.
Tuesday... Northeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then showers likely in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night... North wind 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 4 feet. A slight chance of showers in the evening.
Wednesday... North wind 10 to 15 knots becoming south 5 to 10 knots in the evening...then shifting southwest after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet.
Thursday... West wind up to 5 knots becoming southeast in the afternoon...then increasing to 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.
Friday... South wind 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. A slight chance of showers.
