Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters... Weak onshore flow will prevail today. A strong cold front will move through the coastal waters during the late evening and early morning hours. A chance of rain is expected with the front along with strong offshore flow and building seas. Seas will begin to subside Friday night as an onshore flow returns to south Texas and persists through Monday.

Tonight... Southeast winds around 5 knots becoming north 15 to 25 knots after midnight. Bay waters smooth increasing to choppy after midnight. A slight chance of showers.
Friday... Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots becoming 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Bay waters choppy.
Friday Night... Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Bay waters choppy decreasing to slightly choppy after midnight.
