Synopsis For High Island To Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 Nm... Moderate onshore winds will persist today and tonight as pressures continue to fall over West Texas. A cold front is still forecast to move into the coastal waters early Tuesday evening with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing along and ahead of this boundary. Moderate to strong offshore flow can be expected in the wake of the front and advisories are possible Tuesday night and Wednesday. Onshore flow will return by Friday as the next storm system organizes over The Rockies.
