Synopsis Sw Pass Mississippi River To Atchafalaya River-

Synopsis... High pressure will remain in place through today. A cold front will slide through the coastal waters tonight with a strong ridge of high pressure building into the area on Friday. Small craft advisories conditions are expected to remain through Friday afternoon. The area of high pressure will then remain over the area through the weekend. Another cold front is expected to affect the coastal waters early next week.

This Afternoon... Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.
Tonight... Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming north 20 to 25 knots around Midnight. Lake waters a light chop becoming rough.
Friday... Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Lake waters rough.
Friday Night... Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Lake waters choppy.
Saturday... East winds around 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.
Saturday Night... East winds 5 to 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.
Sunday... Southeast winds around 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.
Sunday Night... Southeast winds around 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop.
Monday... South winds 5 to 10 knots. Lake waters a light chop. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms.
Monday Night... Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northeast 10 to 15 knots after Midnight. Lake waters a light to moderate chop. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms.
