Vis : good.
Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, becoming 3.0m in the south towards end of period, S swell.

Walvis Bay to the Orange River:
wind : S to SW 10 to 15 becoming W 05 to 10 in the south by end of period.
Vis : poor in fog patches.
Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, mainly S swell.

Orange River to cape agulhas:
wind : E 35 in places Cape Point to Cape Agulhas in the early morning, otherwise W to SW 10 to 15.
Vis : poor in fog patches in the morning.
Sea state: 2.5m with SSW swell but 3.5m south of Cape Point with SSE swell.

Cape Agulhas to east london:
wind : E to NE 20 to 30 reaching 35 between Algoa Bay and east London and moderating during the early morning, becoming se to S 10 to 15 west of mossel Bay Tuesday afternoon, spreading eastwards to Algoa Bay by end of period.
Vis : good.
Sea state: 4.0 to 4.5m, se to E swell.

East London to Maputo:
wind : NE 10 to 15 in the extreme north, otherwise NE 20 to 30 reaching 35 in the south during first half of period.
Vis : moderate to poor in a few showers and thundershowers.
Sea state: 3.0 to 3.5m in the north, otherwise 4.0 to 4.5m, with se to E swell.

Mozambique channel:
wind : S to se 15-20, reaching 25-30 in the south-east during first half of period. Localized variable 05-10 between mayotte and Madagascar coast.
Vis : moderate in a few showers.
Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m in the southern and central parts, otherwise 2.0 to 2.5m, S swell.
