the Mississippi River at Chester
* until further notice.
* At 7 PM Thursday the stage was 39.2 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is forecast to continue falling to near 34
feet by Wednesday evening.
