Flood Warning
Issued by the National Weather Service at 7:48 PM CDT on March 17, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Kankakee River at Shelby.
* At 645 PM Wednesday the stage was 9.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will fall below flood stage by Monday evening.
* Impact... at 10.0 feet... flooding affects County and local roads.
Wildwood Estates and Sumava Resorts begin to experience some
flooding.
