Lake effect snow will continue to become heavier along the Lake Shore from Muskegon to South Haven. Snowfall amouts of over an inch per hour will be is possible along the I 196 corridor and along the I 94 corridor to the Paw Paw vicinity.

... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 1 PM EST
Friday...

Periodic snow squalls through Friday morning will be capable of
producing brief whiteout conditions with an inch per hour bursts
of snowfall at times. Some blowing and drifting of snow will be
possible. Total accumulations of 3 to 7 inches are expected.

The greatest threat for these snow bursts will along and west of
U.S. Highway 31. Accumulations will be less east of Highway 31.

Snow showers are expected to diminish in intensity during the day
on Friday.

A lake effect Snow Advisory Means Lake effect snow is forecast
that will make travel difficult in some areas. Lake effect snow
showers typically align themselves in bands and will likely be
intense enough to drop several inches in localized areas. Use
caution when traveling.
